Because we believe tomorrow is the reward of working safely today and as such KCL helps all staff to make sure incidents are reduced as low as reasonably practicable(ALARP) in all times.
Whether its minor or major project, KCL encourage all member of staff to remained alert and focus as to identify possible hazard during operations and immediately action is taken to put things in order for a safer work place.
KCL DRUG AND ALCOHOL POLICY
It is the policy of Knab Continental Limited to strictly forbid the use of the following, unauthorized possession, distribution or sale of drugs, alcohol, controlled or illegal substances by all company member of staff who engaged in company business. In showing respect for rule of law and clients.
There are direct consequences for the member of staff that refused to adhere to these company safety policy and KCL take this very seriously.
KCL HEALTH POLICY
In an effort to maintain good hygienic condition of work environment and to reduce potentials for accident, fire hazard, and waste, KCL continue to do weekly housekeeping for better working environment and safer operations.
KCL ENVIRONMENTAL POLICY
Knab Continental Limited in a practical way, pay more than the usual attention to environmental protection policy. Environmental Protection Policy seeks to identify, assess and mitigate environmental risks to personnel, clients, contractors, regulatory bodies and host community and to achieve all objectives in a whole.
ACCIDENT EMERGENCY PROCEDURE
If any situation appears to be a medical emergency, fire or crime emergency, KCL have put in place the right internal emergency phone numbers to get help immediately. In the event of an accident involving injury or illness:
Action 1: If life threatening, seek emergency medical treatment.
Action 2: Be prepared to give as much information as possible, such as location, nature of injury, cause of injury and any hazards that may be present.
KCL Employees must notify their immediate supervisor as quickly as possible of any on-the-job injury or illness. If it is not an emergency, the supervisor should be notified before the employee seeks medical treatment.
